One of the most special corners of Fethiye, Kıdrak Bay—otherwise known as the “Hidden Paradise”—is a unique stop for those who want to escape the crowds of Ölüdeniz and be alone with nature. This nature park, where pine trees meet turquoise waters, captivates visitors not only with its sea but also with its peaceful atmosphere. Here is our up-to-date Kıdrak Beach guide for the summer season.

1. Where is Kıdrak Beach and How to Get There?

After passing Ölüdeniz Belcekız Beach and heading towards the Faralya (Butterfly Valley) road, Kıdrak Bay greets you after about 3 km.

  • By Car: You can reach it in about 25-30 minutes from the center of Fethiye. There are wide parking areas at the entrance and the furthest section of the beach.

  • By Public Transport: You can get off right in front of the beach by using the Ölüdeniz – Faralya/Kabak minibuses.

2. Entrance Fee and Facilities

Since Kıdrak has National Park status, an entrance fee is required.

  • Vehicle Entrance Fees: CAR: 255₺, PEDESTRIAN: 85₺, PEDESTRIAN (STUDENT): 42.5₺, MOTORCYCLE: 170₺, MINIBUS: 765₺, BICYCLE: 85₺, MIDIBUS: 1,275₺, CARAVAN: 510₺, BUS: 2,550₺.

  • What is Inside?: There is a pleasant cafe and restaurant under the trees inside the beach where you can meet your food and beverage needs. Additionally, toilets, showers, and changing cabins are available.

3. What is the Sea Like? (Cold Water Warning!)

The most important feature that separates Kıdrak from other bays is its water. Because it is a point where spring waters coming from the mountains mix with the sea, its water is a bit cooler and much clearer compared to Ölüdeniz. Especially in scorching summer temperatures, this coolness truly gives you the feeling of an “Escape.” Its sea is generally calm and glass-like.

4. Why Kıdrak? The Best Sunset

Let us share a secret known by the local people and photographers in the region: Kıdrak is one of the best places in Fethiye to watch the sunset. As the sun sets right across the sea, the sky turns into shades of orange and pink. Taking your chair in the evening hours to watch this view is priceless.

5. For Adventure Seekers: A View from the Sky

If you want to see this unique view of Kıdrak not just from the ground, but also from a bird’s-eye view, you can lay all of Ölüdeniz and Kıdrak Bay under your feet with a paragliding flight from Babadağ. As Escape Adventures, we are ready to take you above the clouds.
